Our studio from it's conception has always been meant to be a safe place for kids to be themselves. We long to help your child's love of dance grow, while giving them a community to be a part of. In addition to teaching technique based dance, we promote respect, self confidence, independence and creativity. We hope you give us a chance and become part of our JDDS Family!

There is a one time $30 registration fee for the first child in a registering family account. Any additional children in the same family account would only pay $15 to register. Tuition can be broken down into 10 monthly payments due Sept through June. The classes are $630 a year for an hour long class. $850 a year for a 90 minute class. Solo/Duo/Trio classes work on a different payment schedule and are charged per class.

Yes! There is a 5% discount for the 3rd and 4th class within a family account. There is a 8% discount for the 5th + classes within a family account. Solo, duo, trio classes are not eligible for discounts

Our classes start right after Labor Day (Sept 7th) and run to the second week in June. This is when we have our annual recital. Recital is typically the 2nd Sunday in June.

We will accept toddlers as young as 1 years old for Baby and Me classes accompanied by adult. Here at JDDS we believe dancing is a joy to be enjoyed by all so we offer adult classes as well!!

That's not a problem. Here at JDDS we offer a free trial class so you can try dance, and see what we are all about. We encourage you to come take a tour of the studio, meet the staff and try a class to make sure that we are the right fit for you!!

We know that the highlight of dance classes is getting to perform. For that reason we try to give the students as many opportunities to perform as we can. We do have a recital in June. That is typically held the second weekend in June. In addition to that, we march and dance at the Pen Argyl Labor Day Parade and we have a Holiday Show and Dinner/ Party in December. We have taken groups of students to perform at the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade. We have also performed at local Senior Centers.

We are not a competition studio. We do perform a lot and are working on creating a travelling performance team. But we do not partake in the dance competition scene.

Why yes, you did!!! If your child dances at JDDS, both mom and dad are able to dance in our parent classes for FREE. We have a special class for the moms, and one for the dads. It is a fun way to bond, learn and laugh with an amazing group of people. These groups also get to perform on stage at recital in June and are always a crowd favorite.

No, you do not have to participate in recital.
